An apparatus for controlling vehicle power using a power switch is provided to improve the endurance of a power switch through heat dissipation and reduce the number of switching to enable a stable control operation. A plurality of IPS devices(100-1~100-m) are connected to a plurality of loads(6-1~6-n) through a switch part(10). The IPS device includes a switch part(80), a current monitor(90), and a temperature sensor(110). The switch part determines if power from a battery(1) is conducted by using a control signal of a controller(3). The current monitor monitors current flowing through each IPS device and transmits the monitor value to the controller. The temperature sensor measures the temperature of each IPS device to transmit the measured temperature value to the controller.
