A rear wheel variable upper arm suspension device is provided to stably steer a vehicle by increasing mounting span of a carrier side of an upper arm when driving the vehicle and reducing mounting span of the carrier side of the upper arm when braking the vehicle using a span varying unit. A rear wheel variable upper arm suspension device comprises a varying unit(10), and a control unit. The varying unit is installed between a lower side upper arm(4), and an upper side upper arm(5) to regulate span of the lower side upper arm and the upper side upper arm in accordance with steering angle. The control unit selectively operates the varying unit in accordance with an output of an angle sensor.
