An electronic device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to facilitate patterning for an organic insulation layer including a fluorination to form a bank structure by using an organic solvent. A method for manufacturing an electronic device includes the steps of: providing a substrate(1); forming an organic insulation layer(2) made of an organic insulated material on the substrate; patterning the organic insulation layer by adding an organic solvent(3) on the organic insulation layer. The process of patterning the organic insulation layer includes the steps of: reducing a thickness of the organic insulation layer by adding the organic solvent to a first region(4) of the organic insulation layer; increasing the thickness of the organic insulation layer by stacking the organic insulated material of the first region, which is dissolved by the organic solvent, on a second region(5) near the first region.
