<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically determine a display time of each of target images, depending on a reaction of a viewer in reproducing slide show. <P>SOLUTION: In the image reproducing system for reproducing a plurality of target images and displaying the images while switching them, the display time of each of the target images is dynamically determined, depending on surrounding sounds (viewer's shout etc.) or the motion of a viewer (change in expression of face) at the time of reproduction display. For example, a first target image is first display for a unit time period. Then, audio power corresponding to the surrounding sounds during the time period is detected. If the audio power is relatively large, it is judged that the viewer is much interested to prolong the display of a first target image, and if the audio power is relatively small, the display image is switched from the first target image to a second target image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
