<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve downsizing in the direction perpendicular to the arrangement direction of light emitting elements so as to downsize a drive device, an LED array, an LED head, and an image forming apparatus having them. <P>SOLUTION: A driver IC DRV1 is a drive device which outputs a drive signal which subjects a plurality of light emitting elements to time division drive and has terminals VDD<SB>7</SB>, VDD<SB>8</SB>, and VDD<SB>9</SB>into which control signals for driving the light emitting elements are input, print data output terminals DATAO3 to 0, a terminal KDRV, a terminal STB, a terminal VREF, a terminal GND, a terminal CLK, a terminal LOAD, a terminal HSYNC, print data input terminals DATAI3 to 0, and a plurality of output terminals D01, D02, ..., D048 which are connected to LED elements and output drive signals from the signals input to the input terminals.
