摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat generation suppression method for a motor coil that is applicable to motor coils having different heat characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The heat generation suppression method is composed as follows. In step S15, it is determined whether or not a temporal integration value exceeds an initially set heat generation detection level (n). If it is an affirmative determination, in step S20, a next heat generation detection level (n+1) is set to 99% of the heat generation detection level (n). Then, it is advanced to step S25 so as to stop conduction to a motor coil. In step S30, it is determined whether or not a heat dissipation state, detected by temporal integration, of the motor coil is less than or equal to a return level (n)=heat generation detection level (n)&times;97%. If it is an affirmative determination, it is advanced to step S35 so as to restart conduction to the motor coil. A variable n is incremented by n=n+1 in step S40 to return to step S15. Whenever a heat dissipation and return cycle from step S15 to step S40 is repeated, a setting value of the heat generation detection level (n) and that of the return level (n), respectively, are successively set to a value being lower by 1% from an initial setting value for each cycle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
