PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric vibrator and its manufacturing method aiming for a reduced size and capable of reliably obtaining electrical conduction with an excitation electrode of a piezoelectric vibrating reed from an external terminal, and an oscillator, electronic equipment and a radio-controlled watch equipped with the piezoelectric vibrator.

SOLUTION: The piezoelectric vibrator 1 comprises: the substantially plate-like piezoelectric vibrating reed having the excitation electrode; a substantially plate-like case 12 in which the piezoelectric vibrating reed is internally arranged to seal in an airtight manner; a pair of outer reed parts 25 which project from both ends of the case 12 to the outside and are connected to the excitation electrode of the piezoelectric vibrating reed, respectively; a plastic body 2 for covering the case 12 and the outer reed parts 25; and a fitting groove 7 with which the outer reed parts 25 elastically spreading to correspond is fitted. Further, the piezoelectric vibrator 1 is equipped with a pair of external terminals 3 at least parts of which are exposed from the plastic body 2 to be electrically conducted from the outside.
