<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal authentication medium, the forgery and alteration of which can be more surely prevented from developing, and to provide a personally certifying medium issuing device. <P>SOLUTION: In this personal authentication medium, at least a face image 12 and a digitally watermarked image 13 inserted by digitally watermarked information are provided on the surface of a bill under the condition that the digitally watermarked image is formed so as to have both its end parts spread over the region of the face image 12 and its peripheral region 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
