PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which has no adhesive agent layer on the surface on the side of the surface sheet of a wing-like flap in temporarily tying by folding the wing-like flap to the side of the surface sheet in the absorbent article equipped with the wing-like flaps which are folded to the skin-contact side in the individually packaged state. SOLUTION: In the individually packaged state of the finished product of the absorbent article, the wing-like flap W is folded to the side of a liquid-permeable surface sheet 3 together with a release material 12 for the wing. An individually packaging material 16 is fixed to a release material 11 for a main body and/or the release material 12 for the wing. The wing-like flaps W, W are not superposed on the side of the liquid-permeable surface sheet 3, and the end parts of the release materials 12 for wings are superposed.
