The invention relates to a hydro-elastic articulation comprising at least an inner frame (1), an intermediate frame (2), an outer sleeve (4) and damping means (5A, 5B) for applying a resistance force against any relative radial displacement of the inner frame (1) relative to the outer sleeve. According to the invention, the intermediate frame (2) has a generally cylindrical shape with a plurality of rigid protrusions (3A, 3B) shaped and arranged for transmitting a frank pushing force of the inner frame (1) onto the outer sleeve (4) in case of a relative radial displacement exceeding a functional limit of said inner frame (1) and said outer sleeve (4).
