摘要 A method of preparing a catalyst for a fuel cell is provided to mass-produce the catalysts by uniformly preparing desired catalysts economically through a simple process using atmospheric plasma. A method of preparing a catalyst for a fuel cell comprises the steps of: mixing a Pt-based catalyst precursor and a solvent to prepare a mixture; and irradiating atmospheric plasma onto the mixture. The Pt-based catalyst precursor is selected from the group consisting of H2PtCl6, K2(PtCl4), H2Pt(OH)6, Pt(NO3)2, [Pt(NH3)4]Cl2, [Pt(NH3)4](HCO3)2, [Pt(NH3)4](OAc)2, (NH4)2PtBr6, (NH3)2PtCl6, hydrates thereof, and mixtures thereof. The solvent is alcohol or a mixed solvent of water and alcohol. The alcohol is selected from the group consisting of isopropyl alcohol, methanol, ethanol, n-propyl alcohol, butanol, ethylene glycol, glycerol, tetrahydrofuran, and combinations thereof. The water and alcohol are mixed at a volume ratio of 16:1 to 1:16. The mixture preparing step is performed by additionally adding a carrier into the mixture of the Pt-based catalyst precursor and the solvent. Further, the atmospheric plasma is irradiated by a power supplying unit of which a frequency is 500kHz to 5GHz.
