SEAT-COVER COVERING STRUCTURE

In a seat pad (30), a lashing-in recess is formed to have a through hole extending partially to the back of the seat pad (30). A seat cover (40) is formed into a bag shape having an opening, in which a string-shaped member (50) for drawing the seat cover (40) thereby to mount the same on the seat pad (30) is arranged. The seat cover (40) is equipped, at its position corresponding to the lashing-in recess of the seat pad (30), with a lashing-in portions, which are inserted into and arranged in the through hole of the seat pad (30) and which have retaining portions (47a and 47b) formed at their leading end portions for retaining the string-shaped member (50). The retaining portions (47a and 47b), as inserted into the through holes (34a and 34b) of the seat pad (30), are so retained on the string-shaped member (50) that they may receive, when drawn and mounted, the drawing action force of the string-shaped member (50).
