摘要 An OLED device is provided to enhance visibility under strong solar beams by displaying images according to variation data which is generated based on motion and still pictures. An OLED(Organic Light Emitting Display) device includes a pixel unit(100), scan and data drivers(200,300), an optic sensor(700), an image determiner(600), and first and second signal processing units(400,500). The pixel unit includes scan and data lines and pixels connected to the scan and data lines. The scan driver sequentially supplies scan signals to the scan lines. The data driver supplies data signals to the data lines. The optic sensor generates an optic detection signal corresponding to the intensity of external beams. The image determiner determines motion and still pictures and generates an image determining signal. The first signal processing unit selects a gamma value corresponding to the lightness of ambient beams, outputs a gamma compensation signal corresponding to the selected gamma value, and adjusts gray scale voltages of the data signals. The second signal processing unit compares the optic detection signal with a reference value, generates a selection signal according to the comparison result, generates data having different variation ranges according to the selection signal and the image determining signal, and supplies the generated data to the data driver. The first signal processing unit is driven when luminance is lower than a reference value and the second signal processing unit is driven when the luminance is higher than the reference value.
