A power transmission cable comprising at least one power conductor, an in sulating layer surrounding said conductor to form at least one insulated con ductor, a flame-retardant halogen free protective sheath provided in a radia lly external position with respect to said insulated conductor, wherein said sheath has an inner and an outer layer in contact one another, said inner l ayer has a thickness at least equal to a thickness of said outer layer, the inner layer comprises a polymer material having a glass transition temperatu re equal to or lower than -30°C, and the outer layer comprises a mud resista nt polymer material.
