<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated system and a method for quickly analyzing a tissue. <P>SOLUTION: The method is implemented by a computer for localizing a biomarker within a cell, and includes: the process of identifying a first image segment of the cell corresponding to a first defined region; the process of identifying a second image segment of the cell corresponding to at least one biomarker; and the process of determining the second image segment located in the first image segment, and for identifying whether the biomarker is localized within the defined region or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
