<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink which is capable of forming high-density printed images, is suppressed in the occurrence of clogging and curling, and is also excellent in pigment dispersion stability as well. <P>SOLUTION: The ink comprises a pigment, a dispersant, a penetrant, water, a compound having, in its molecule, two hydroxy groups, a compound having, in its molecule, three hydroxy groups, and a compound having in its molecule four or more hydroxy groups, wherein, the content of the pigment is 7-20 wt.%, the content of the compound having, in its molecule, two hydroxy groups is 1-10 wt.%, the content of the compound having in its molecule three hydroxy groups is 2-20 wt.%, and the compound having, in its molecule, four or more hydroxy groups is 25-50 wt.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
