<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water quality abnormality detection device and a water quality abnormality detection method capable of detecting an abnormality accurately concerning a water quality abnormality of treated water in a water treatment unit, even when the water quality of raw water varies. <P>SOLUTION: This water quality abnormality detection device 40 is equipped on the outlet side of an ion exchange unit 10 with a column 41 for measurement and a column 42 for comparison having the same volume connected in parallel respectively, a pH meter 43 for measurement disposed on the downstream side in the water moving direction of the column 41 for measurement, a pH meter 44 for comparison disposed on the downstream side in the water moving direction of the column for comparison, and an operation means 49 for calculating the degree of the water quality abnormality based on a comparison value by the pH meter 43 for measurement and a comparison value by the pH meter 44 for comparison. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
