<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify filtering processing for reduction of a high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). <P>SOLUTION: A transmitter includes: a limiter which performs clipping of clipping an amplitude part higher than an amplitude level based on a predetermined clipping level, from an input signal and separates the input signal into the input signal after the clipping, which includes a predetermined out-of-band component, and a clipping signal clipped from the input signal through the clipping, and outputs the input signal after the clipping and the clipping signal; a high-pass filter which has the clipping signal from the limiter inputted thereto and performs high-pass filtering of blocking an in-band component while transmitting an out-of-band component which is included in the clipping signal and has a phase opposite to that of the out-of-band component in the input signal after the clipping; an adder which receives and adds the out-of-band component outputted from the high-pass filter and the input signal after the clipping received from the limiter; and an amplifier which performs power amplification on a signal outputted from the adder and outputs an amplification result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
