<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for forming a good image by suppressing generation of defects caused by the fact that a special code is present at a halfway point of video data received at the receiving side in the technique in which synchronization of transmission and reception of the video data between the transmitting side and the receiving side is obtained by using the special code. <P>SOLUTION: A main controller (transmitting side) stores the video data over a plurality of blocks, and inserts a dummy block with dummy data stored therein in the halfway of the plurality of blocks. Moreover, the main controller substitutes the dummy data stored in the dummy block with the special code, thereby generating transmission data. A head controller (receiving side) controls lighting of a line head on the basis of video data reconstructed by removing the dummy block from the received transmission data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
