PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure relief valve which keeps the operation lever restrained from turning around a longitudinal axis of a poppet valve without depending on the other adjacent members excluding the own valve. SOLUTION: The pressure relief valve comprises: a valve body urged by a spring in the opening and closing direction, a poppet valve shaft for connecting with the valve body; and the operation lever for driving the valve body in the valve-opening direction by opposing to urging force of the spring while connecting with the valve body by driving the poppet valve shaft in the longitudinal direction. The pressure relief valve opens itself when primary pressure applied to the valve body exceeds a designated value, and forcibly open itself by a turning operation of the operation lever. A control member for controlling the turning of the poppet valve shaft of the operation lever around a longitudinal axis is provided in the pressure relief valve. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
