PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily mount and replace a cover in a linear guide device in which the cover is mounted on the upper surface of a guide rail. SOLUTION: The cover 2 is so formed that side surface parts 22 disposed at the side surface upper parts of the guide rail 1 are bent from both ends of the lateral center part 21 disposed on the upper surface of the guide rail 1. A band-like body 3 made of a material with high elasticity and high coefficient of friction is put on the upper surface of the guide rail 1, and the cover 2 is put on the band-like body.
