PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic drive pump capable of shortening a time required for raising a coolant temperature by reducing a coolant flow during the cold start of an engine, and improving fuel economy by reducing the coolant flow to reduce the workload of a pump. SOLUTION: There is provided a drive means 23 for moving either of a permanent magnet (magnetizing means) 20 and an inductor 18 in the axial direction of a rotating shaft 13.
