PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal mounted with a plurality of functions, the portable terminal capable of taking the shapes optimal to reaspective function. SOLUTION: Each of an upper unit 1, a middle unit 2, a lower unit 3 has the shape of a rotating body, the upper unit 1 and the middle unit 2, and the middle unit 2 and the lower unit 3 are relatively rotatably connected with each other by rotation hinges. Then, a casing outer circumferential surface of the upper unit 1 is provided with a camera part 4, a first speaker 12, a receiver 10, a cross key device, etc., the middle unit 2 is provided with a display device 5 and a rotation input device 11, etc. and a casing outer circumferential surface of the lower unit 3 is provided with a main key part 10, a direction instruction key 6, a determination key 7, a softkey part 8 and a microphone, etc. A user changes a use shape of a cellular phone terminal into the shape permitting the use of a device optimal to a desired function by rotating the upper unit 1, a middle unit 2 and the lower unit 3.
