PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cluster system for achieving the difference transfer of data by a memory region of a variable size where the upper limit of the size can be set. SOLUTION: A disk device 2 of an operation system server (A)1 and a disk device 2 of a stand-by system server (B)1 configure a mirroring disk by filter drivers 21 and mirroring demons 22. Cluster software 23 performs communication for confirming their mutual existence. When the server (A1) fails down, and failover to the server (B)1 occurs, the filter driver 21 of the server (B)1 manages each changeless block after fail over as one element on a changeless block recording region 30, and when the server (A)1 is restored, transfers the data of any block other than the changeless block managed in the changeless block recording region 30 as difference data.
