The clutch plate (1), in a motor vehicle transmission, is operated by a piston (2) acting on the ball-shaped end (4b) of a push rod (4). The effective force transfer point (KP) between the piston and the push rod is within the piston zone, defined by guides (5,6) as piston rings or piston grooves. An additional seal (7) is between the guides.
