ACCELERATOR PEDAL SYSTEM

An accelerator pedal system is provided to transmit physical reaction force to an accelerator pedal to inform overspeed to a drive when a driving vehicle is over predetermined speed limit. An accelerator pedal system comprises an accelerator pedal(200), a pedal control unit, and a reaction force unit. The reaction force unit comprises an actuator(401), a power transmitting unit(410) and a worm wheel(411). The actuator generates power in accordance with intensity of current applied by a control signal. The power transmitting unit selectively transmits power from the actuator. The worm wheel transmits power from the power transmitting unit to the accelerator pedal. A sink is formed at an outer surface of a case to discharge heat to the outside.
