A plasma display apparatus and a driving method thereof are provided to enhance display quality by providing a supply time range used for preventing erroneous discharge. A plasma display apparatus includes a display panel(501), a logic controller(101), and drivers(201,301,401). The display panel displays images by driving signals converted from image signals. The logic controller detects temperature of the display panel, compares the detected temperature with temperature interval information, forms a driving control signal for varying the driving signals when the temperature of the display panel is varied, and calculates variation conditions included in the driving control signal in order to determine variation time of the driving signals. The drivers supply the varied driving signals at a variation time selected by the variation conditions according to the driving control signal. The logic controller includes a timer which measures a temperature changing time. The drivers vary the driving signal prior to the variation conditions when the temperature changing time is out of range and supply the varied driving signal.
