A pneumatic tire is provided to improve draining performance by forming a sipe on the tire in a predetermined shape. A pneumatic tire comprises a tread(1), a groove and a sipe(5). The groove includes a lengthwise groove formed in a circumferential direction of the tire and a widthwise groove formed in a width direction of the tire and a sipe(5), which is formed on a tread block(4) in the width direction of the tire. The sipe has an inner part facing a center line(CL), which represents a center point widthwise along the tread, an outer part facing a shoulder, an upper part connected to the tread and a lower part serving as a bottom surface of the sipe. An inner side of the lower part is wider than an inner side of the upper part. An outer side of the lower part is wider than an outer side of the upper part. The width of the upper part is uniform. The lower part is gradually wider from the inside to the outside.
