PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for performing rendering of skin wrinkles at a character animation time in real time, at the optimum speed and with a factful expression. SOLUTION: The skin wrinkles in each expression are expressed by means of Normal Map and Bump Map, and as for the Maps, a difference between the Normal Map and the Bump Map is calculated at an expressionless time, and thereby data of generalized skin wrinkles and weighted value data are generated, and data of skin wrinkles of a desired character are generated by using wrinkle data generalized in each expression, and the Normal Map and the Bump Map expressing final skin wrinkles are calculated by using weighted values in each expression at a present animation time t, and thereafter the result is rendered on a screen.
