PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color former which easily penetrates into cement products or concrete products, is excellent in adhesion to materials and in fading resistance, does not need complicated work such as firing process and is inexpensive, and which can form a color having feeling approximate to a natural color. SOLUTION: The color former develops a prescribed color by the reaction with a composition containing cement, and is composed of iron alum, potassium carbonate, iron sulfate comprising ferrous sulfate and ferric sulfate, and water.
