PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crushing apparatus with structure capable of crushing particulate crushing objects into powder with preferable efficiency, and capable of preferably suppressing intrusion of foreign matter into crushed matter. SOLUTION: Air in an inner space 141 of a crushing space member 140 is swirled by rotation of a rotor unit 120 and by air introduced from a side face air suction part 150, and the particulate crushing objects P are discharged thereto from the rotating rotor unit 120 by centrifugal force. The particulate crushing objects P are made to collide with one another by the fluidizing layer of swirling air to be crushed into powder.
