A positron CT apparatus comprises a first detection section and a first image processing section to acquire a three-dimensional image of a first region of interest. The apparatus further comprises a second detection section and a second image processing section to acquire real planar images of the first region of interest and a second region of interest. A calculation planar image calculating section calculates data corresponding to only the first region of interest projected onto the real planar image from the three-dimensional image. A correction section subtracts the calculation planar image from the real planar image to acquire a corrected planar image corresponding to only the second region of interest. Thus, the three-dimensional image corresponding to the first region of interest and a corrected planar image onto which the second region of interest is projected can be simultaneously obtained at one diagnosis. |
