<p>A method and apparatus for manufacturing an ingot for a solar cell is provided to prevent the generation of environmental pollution and to reduce the cost necessary for solar cell material by using used silicon. Residues of silicon of a crucible are firstly fractured by using a physical member and a thermal expansion(S100). A heating process is performed on the silicon and whether particles attached to one side of the silicon are capable of being removed or not is determined(S110). When an automatic separation node is determined through a separation process, the resistance of the silicon is measured by using a resistance measuring probe(S120). When the silicon is determined as a usable one, the silicon is secondly fractured(S140). A micro etching process is performed on the silicon to separate the particles from the silicon(S150). An ingot for a solar cell is grown by using the silicon(S160).</p> |
