A prophylactic treatment for infectious bronchitis as well as a treatment of infectious bronchitis. The methods comprise the step of administering to a bird, an amount of a composition having a first ingredient obtainable fro m turmeric; a second ingredient obtainable from green tea; an third ingredie nt obtainable from ginger; and an acceptable carrier. Compositions in accord ance with the invention may be employed for the purpose of reducing the inci dence of contracting infectious bronchitis or reducing the transmissivity of infectious bronchitis.
