A system for controlling a variable valve is provided to ensure a stable operation and to improve fuel consumption without utilizing a cam. A system for controlling a variable valve comprises a crank angle sensor(101) detecting an angle of a crankshaft, an engine control unit(105), a control portion(123) transmitting a control signal input from the engine control unit, a first valve(109), a second valve(111), a pressure supply unit(117), and first and second sensors(119,121). The engine control unit outputs the control signal to control the intake and exhaust valves by receiving a signal transmitted from the crank angle sensor. The first valve includes a first actuator opening and closing the intake valve by receiving a signal from the control portion. The second valve includes a second actuator opening and closing the exhaust valve by receiving a signal from the control portion.
