The arm has a set of three axes (5-7) placed at its base, and another set of two axes (8, 9) at its distal end. A hydraulic or electric motor is provided for processing orientations permitted by the axes. One of the axes in the latter set of axes reproduces a movement of a cutter equipped with a crosscut saw. One of the axes in the former set of axis permits a rotation of the arm along a longitudinal axis. A support is fixed around the axis (5) that is connected to a carrier e.g. verge cutter.
