An apparatus for forming a fuel cell separator is provided to prevent the breakage or bending of a fuel cell separator and to improve productivity by allowing the formed fuel cell separator to be discharged. An apparatus for forming a fuel cell separator comprises an upper mold(11) provided with an upper block groove(11a) opened downward, and a lower mold(13) which is provided with a lower block groove(13a) opened to the direction facing with the upper block groove and is installed below the upper mold; upper and lower blocks(15,17) which are inserted into the upper and lower block grooves so as to come and go along the upper and lower block grooves by external force and are provided with upper and lower projections(15a,17a); a plurality of upper and lower sub-block hydraulic cylinders(19,21) which are installed in the upper and lower molds and moves the upper and lower blocks forcibly according to the size of the hydraulic pressure; and upper and lower springs(23,25) which are placed in the upper and lower block grooves to give the elastic restitution force to the movement of the upper and lower blocks. |
