3 DIMENSION SHAPE SURFACE RECONSTRUCTION METHOD USING 2 DIMENSION IMAGES AND RENDERING METHOD FOR RECONSTRUCTED SHAPES

A method for restoring a 3D shape by using a 2D image and a 3D image generating method using the same are provided to obtain 3D coordinates of feature points from the 2D images photographed in plural directions and restore a 3D curve even through a small number of points by using the obtained 3D coordinates of feature points. A method for restoring a 3D(Dimensional) shape by using a 2D image comprises the following steps of: extracting feature points for each image by analyzing the 2D images(101); performing triangulation on 2D by using the extracted feature points of each image(102); obtaining plural points by sampling points in a curve of a mesh shape obtained through the triangulation(103); and generating a subset by sampling a part of the all points obtained in the above third step, and restoring a curve through ensemble technique(104).
