The line (1) has a fuel injector (21) placed upstream of an oxidation catalyst (22), and a generation unit (24) placed upstream of the fuel injector such that the generation unit generates rotational movements of an exhaust gas around an axis of the line. A mixer is arranged between the injector and the catalyst to homogenize gas and fuel mixture. Two temperature sensors (30, 31) are respectively located at inlets of the oxidation catalyst and a particle filter (23). An independent claim is also included for a method for post-treatment of an exhaust gas in an internal combustion engine.
