An exterior member finishing structure and a method for installing the same are provided to reduce installation time and to improve work efficiency by forming a snap unit by inserting a vertical joint bar to a bracket. An exterior member finishing structure comprises a bracket(10), and a vertical joint bar(20). The bracket which is a female member is horizontally assembled in a rail groove of a horizontal bar, and has a insert groove and a supporting unit(12). The supporting unit is extended from an outer surface of the bracket, and supports an inner surface of a panel to allow the bracket to be adhered to the rail groove of the horizontal bar. The vertical joint bar which is a male member is inserted to the insert groove of the bracket. The vertical joint bar has a fastening sill at one end, and a fastening groove at the insert groove to form a snap unit. The fastening sill has elasticity, and fastened to the fastening groove. |
