Granulated medicated premixture comprises at least an orally administrable active ingredient, where the premixture is able to be obtained by mixing the active ingredient particles having an average size of 100-500 mu m, with a support or primary granulated excipient having an average size of 400-1000 mu m and a support or secondary particulate excipient having an average size of less than the support or primary excipient, and then wetting and stabilizing the obtained mixture using a fluid. Independent claims are included for: (1) the preparation of the medicated premixture containing at least an orally administrable active ingredient, comprising mixing the active ingredient particles with the support or primary granulated excipient and a support or secondary granulated excipient, wetting and stabilizing the obtained mixture using a fluid and obtaining the premixture mainly made of granules; (2) the preparation of food for veterinary use, containing the premixture obtained by the process, comprising mixing the premixture with the food base and optionally granulating and extruding the mixture; and (3) a food for veterinary use comprising a food base and the medicated premixture obtained by the process.
