A mobile communication terminal capable of detaching an external folder having an external keypad is provided to mount the external folder having the external keypad on the terminal, or to mount an external keypad selectively for particular devices such as a computer and a game machine, thereby promoting a user's convenience in accordance with keypad usage. An external folder(120) comprises as follows. A cover(121) covers a keypad of a mobile communication terminal not to expose the keypad. Coupling members(122) are mounted with a body of the terminal. A hinge(123) forms a rotational shaft between the cover and the coupling members. An external keypad(124) uses functions of the terminal. A supplementary battery(125) provides power to the terminal. The cover is rotated at the hinge by enabling one side end thereof to be coupled with the hinge.
