The invention relates to a control device of a light ring (8) that is located in the front panel (1) of a household appliance having a rotating working element, especially in the front panel (1) of a washing machine having a drum, wherein several light diodes (10) are arranged along the periphery of the light ring (8), all of said diodes being illuminated at the same time and evenly. In order to view the current rotational speed of the working element with the aid of the light ring(8), the control of said light ring is embodied in such a way that the light diodes (10) rotationally flash with a rotational speed that is proportional to the current rotational speed of the working element. |
