KNEE AIRBAG DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knee airbag device for a vehicle capable of deploying a knee airbag in a substantially uniform manner on the gas ejection part side and on the counter gas ejection part side when a cylinder type inflator is arranged.

SOLUTION: The thickness T1 of a second right tear line 62C to a fourth tear line 62F with a gas ejection part 72 side of an inflator 50 being arranged thereon out of a tear line 62 for deploying a left door 60C and a right door 60D is set to be larger than the thickness T2 of a second left tear line 62B to a fourth left tear line 62F arranged opposite to the gas ejection part 72. Thus, the gas ejection pressure is balanced with the thickness of the tear line 62, and the left door 60C and the right door 60D can be developed in a substantially uniform manner.
