摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye sensitized photoelectric conversion element that is high in generation efficiency of photoexcited electrons while having high durability to heat and light, and a dye sensitized solar cell using the photoelectric conversion element.

SOLUTION: The dye sensitized photoelectric conversion element is composed so that at least a semiconductor layer and an electrolyte layer are provided between counter electrodes. The semiconductor layer includes a compound represented by general formula (1).
