<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iodine analysis method and a device having no interference of IH2, and an iodine analysis method and a device wherein a detector is not deteriorated even if measurement of iodine 127 is continued. <P>SOLUTION: When analyzing iodine by using an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, a soil sample 300 is heated in an argon gas atmosphere to change the sample into a gas phase state, and the sample in the gas phase state is introduced as it is into the inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer 200 with an reaction cell 240, and then mass spectrometry is performed. The mass spectrometry is performed with comparatively low sensitivity relative to iodine 127 and relatively high sensitivity relative to iodine 129 by parameter setting of the reaction cell 240. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
