PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for fractionizing a trace of a liquid, in which the trace of the liquid injected from the outside can be fractionized automatically by the predetermined amount. SOLUTION: Since one side of a main passage 13 is formed to have such a property that hydrophobicity is changed gradually to hydrophilicity, the trace of the liquid A can be conveyed automatically only by injecting the trace of the liquid A into the main passage 13. Since one side of a side passage 14 branched from the main passage 13 is formed to have hydrophilicity, a part of the trace of the liquid A is introduced automatically into the side passage 14 and the trace of the liquid A introduced into the side passage 14 is dammed by an electrode 16 having hydrophobic surfaces to fractionize a fixed amount of the trace of the liquid A. As a result, the amount of a reagent to be used can be made smaller than before and the manufacturing cost of a drug can be reduced in a drug development field. Since complicated connections other than an electric connection are not required between the device for fractionizing the trace of the liquid and a peripheral instrument, the peripheral instrument can be simplified extremely and an apparatus can be made compact and inexpensive as a whole.
