PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert system design information not depending on a platform to system design information depending on a specific platform. SOLUTION: This information converter 1 has: a pre-conversion storage means 17 for storing schematic pre-conversion system design information 27 not depending on the platform; a conversion profile storage means 19 for storing a schematic conversion profile 35 including correspondence relation between platform-independent information and specific platform-dependent information; a schema/language conversion means 7 for converting the schematic pre-conversion system design information 27 into computer language type pre-conversion system design information, and converting the schematic conversion profile 35 into a computer language type conversion profile; a conversion processing means 14 for converting the computer language type pre-conversion system design information into specific platform-dependent computer language type post-conversion system design information based on the computer language type conversion profile; and a post-conversion storage means for storing the computer language type post-conversion system design information.
