PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a token selector securely preventing a token intake phenomenon by a simple structure. SOLUTION: After confirming a normal passage of cast tokens M through photointerrupters 93, 95, and 113, only when regular tokens M are fed, the number of cast tokens is counted. When a token M at the preset permitted upper limit number is cast, and before the token M passes through a token sensor 91, the photointerrupter 93 operates a token blocker 71 so as to be controlled into an elimination state at a timing at which a first token detection signal is output, so that the following tokens M exceeding the permitted upper limit number are securely eliminated from a token passage 61.
