PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously move a plurality of shielding plates to respective positions by a compact motor. SOLUTION: A shielding device 20 includes: a motor 24 rotatable in forward and reverse directions; a circular rotary plate 26 supported so as to be rotated centering on a virtual rotary shaft in forward and reverse directions and rotated in forward and reverse directions by the motor 24; and the plurality of shielding plates 34-39 which can be simultaneously rotated from an opening position for opening a display window to a shielding position for shielding the display window and vice versa in synchronism with the rotation of the rotary plate 26. The shielding plates 34-39 are rotatably provided around the rotary plate 26 so as to be point-symmetrical to the virtual rotary shaft of the rotary plate 26. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
